Digital Signal Processing

The certificate course in digital signal processing includes fundamentals and classification schemes in computing architectures. Furthermore an Introduction to DSPs, ASIPs, FPGAs and heterogeneous architectures will given. The module is connected to system on chip design and IP based technologies and treats topics regarding HW-/SW-partitioning technologies.

After course completion, participants should be able to a) perform a basic design space exploration based on their project work, b) do a hardware software partitioning, c) implement basic designs for FPGA based systems, d) communicate effectively with information technologie engineers

 

Pre-Requisites

  • Basic knowledge about digital electronics
  • Interest in electronics and technology
