✅ Practical solutions to real business challenges

✅ Inspiring examples of how science and industry work together

✅ Benefits for both companies and professionals through collaboration with the Hector School

Hongfeng Gao, Alumnus, Master'S Program Energy Engineering and Management (KIT)
PhD Candidate, TU Braunschweig

In his work, Hongfeng Gao moves from detailed engineering challenges—such as lubrication and cooling in geared turbofan gearboxes—to a much broader perspective on aviation decarbonization in Europe. His research highlights how climate policies can shape market dynamics in unexpected ways, for example by influencing passenger choices and competitive structures within the aviation sector.

The presentation will be followed by an interactive Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker.
