Program Structure 

The full certificate module consists of four interconnected short courses. While each course can be attended individually, the complete module offers a coherent learning journey through smart networks and energy distribution, covering the fundamentals of power systems and high voltage engineering, transmission and distribution, smart grids and emerging technologies, and key power system components and their role in modern electricity networks.

Introduction to Power Systems/ High Voltage Engineering

Introduction to power system fundamentals and high voltage engineering, covering basic grid structures, system behavior, insulation coordination, and technologies for safe, reliable, and efficient transmission of electrical energy.

Introduction to transmission and distribution networks, focusing on grid topologies, planning and operation of HV/MV/LV systems, power flow and losses, and the role of T&D infrastructures in secure and efficient electricity supply.
