The key pillars of Germany's planned energy transition are the use of electricity, heat, hydrogen-based technologies, and increased energy efficiency. In the near future, we will need to meet our entire energy demand from renewable sources and use energy much more efficientl, with significantly lower losses than today. To achieve this, we need to start developing concrete goals now:
- How will companies and households generate or source their electricity and heat in five, ten, and twenty years?
- What key role will hydrogen technologies play?
- What expertise, infrastructure, and technologies will be needed to successfully transition to climate-friendly energy generation?
